Why is there no User guides? I have Stoves Sterling 1100 DF and want to see how various functions work. Supplied user guide is too generic and quite useless. I would never buy Stoves. Only advertisement, what a useless company.

Why the crap music?

Induction is the only way to go in 2022. I really want the Falcon Elise 90 with induction cooktop, but it is only available with a gas cooktop in Australia. The induction version is available in New Zealand and as we share an agreed electrical standard I would have thought importing it into Australia would be no problem. I rang the people @Falcon:andi-coAustralia to enquire why the induction model wasn't available here, only to speak to a very rude woman who tried to tell me that it couldn't be imported into Australia because it would have to go through a long approval process (which is clearly BS - if it meets the NZ standard, it by default meets the Australian standard). When I said that it was available in NZ she kindly reminded me that NZ is a different country (really? who'd'a thunk it?). I mentioned that considering climate change I was wanting to move away from gas and was trying to future-proof my investment she basically dismissed my argument with "gas will be around for a long time yet". Yes, it will, and I don't want to contribute to the emissions. She also said that "induction is a niche market" which is hilarious because the Elise at AUD 15K+ is the very definition of a niche appliance. Ironically, they do import the Falcon Classic with an induction top and many others in the more contemporary ranges. Unfortunately, I think the Classic is really ugly and only comes in a limited range of uninspiring colours. Every person I know is talking about replacing their gas ranges with induction in the near future. It's a blind company who can't see the writing on the wall.

How can induction be more efficient

Hi there, we are thinking of replacing our Belling Cookcentre Induction cooker because it "pulses" so much. For example at level 3 the power is on for 0.5 of a second and then off for 7.5 seconds. At level 4 the power is on for 1 second and then off for 7 seconds and so on which is making it really hard to cook food slowly or to simmer food. The Belling "pulses' all the way up to 9 when it is fully on. So, can you confirm that the Rangemaster Induction doesn't do this? I think that the Rangemaster is much better, but I have yet to actually see one in operation at lower levels. Any help would be greatly appreciated before we order one. I really wish it was possible to "try before you buy" with these cookers

I like the slide and hide function. My back isn't the best and I like to cook with Dutch ovens quite often. The door sliding away means I don't have to extend my reach when placing a heavy item into the oven. That's why I'm going with NEFF.

and here is my statement on this cooker after 2 months : #1 delivered without fan blades, #2 , the heating stopped all together. After two engineer interventions , the cooker now burns dishes on one side and does not cook on the other . Would I recommend this cooker to a friend ? NO !!

Here is my Statement on this cooker. 19 months old and three faults # 1 Top oven door replaced, #2 The rubber feet on the pan supports melted, they replaced them. #3 Now the neon Main Oven Light has disappeared into the control panel. Would I recommend this cooker to a friend ?? NO!

In my opinion NEFF make beautiful, quality appliances better than CDA. Don't get me wrong CDA make great appliances too but NEFF appliances are the next level.
